Our BMW ghost immobiliser is an innovative next-generation device that does not require cutting OEM wires or adding an aftermarket alarm and key fobs. It is connected to the BMW CAN data network and is programmed with a unique PIN code that is accessible through buttons on your car. This allows you to enter key sequences that aren't available in the normal media menus. For instance the volume up/down button, or source controls, air conditioning, cruise control etc. The PIN is between 4 and 20 characters, making it very difficult for thieves to guess.

The device is connected to the vehicles CAN Data Network (similar to an Ethernet cable) and a personal PIN code is programmed into it. This pin code must be selected before the vehicle starts. This stops thieves from using a cloned key or replacing the ECU in order to bypass this system.
